Stop Motion Animation, Grades 5-8

This 6-week hands-on course teaches basic techniques for writing a story line and script, building a flip book, making clay figures, and recording a film. “Shaun the Sheep” and “Wallace and Gromit” are examples of stop motion animation that you might recognize. iPads and camera are provided. Class taught by Barbie Garnett, our hard-working CSU Extension representative!

WHEN: Mondays, Jan. 30 – March 13 (6 classes; no class Feb. 20); 3:30-4:25pm
WHO: Grades 5-8 (min. 8 students/max. 20 students)
WHERE: Science Lab, CCCK-8
COST: $12 to cover the cost of materials (Make check payable to CCCK-8 PTSA)
NOTE: The iPads are the property of CSU Extension and are re-used for other classes. Participants in the class will not bring iPads home.
